14 - One day tour: Boat Tour in Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande

The city of Angra do Reis and surroundings are considered one of the most beautiful regions of Brazil. It has an archipelago with 365 islands, mountainous terrain covered in lush Atlantic rainforest and sandy beaches with crystal clear water. It has a breathtaking natural beauty.
 
The trip starts leaving Rio de Janeiro for Angra dos Reis
The city is 166 Km away from Rio de Janeiro. It takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to get there. There is a stop during the trip to drink a coffee, a water or go to the toilet.
 
 Boat tour
Upon arrival in town the group will go to the pier to board the boat. The tour takes approximately 5 hours visiting the beaches with 4 stops for swimming or diving and includes mineral water and sodas. The boat visits:
 
Cataguases Islands (stops 20 to 30 minutes)
Blue Lagoon in Ilha Grande ( stop for diving 20 to 30 minutes)
Freguesia de Santana Beach in Ilha Grande (ecological walk or swimming)
Japariz Beach ( lunch with  free buffet: drinks and desserts are not included)
 
Return to Rio de Janeiro
