Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer): Visit one the 7 wonders of the modern world. It is considered the largest Art Deco statue in the world since 1931 at 30 metres (98 ft) tall or 38 metres (125 ft) tall with its pedestal.  The statue is located at the peak of the 700-metre (2,300 ft) Corcovado Mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city. It is the most visited tourist attraction in Brazil.
 
Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf Mountain): The ride is divided into two stages, each lasting 3 minutes. The first stage goes from Praia Vermelha (Red Beach) to Morro da Urca (Urca Hill), at an altitude of 220 meters. The second stage goes from Morro da Urca to Sugarloaf Mountain, at an altitude of 396 meters. The cable car travels at a speed of 21 to 31 kilometers per hour (13 to 19 mph) and has a capacity for 65 passengers. The two hills are more than 600 million years old. A natural, historical and touristic landmark of the city. The city of Rio de Janeiro was founded there in 1565.
